The questionnaires have still been coming in here and there and I've been sent some great items, including newspapers and even a copper kettle that used to be used on a rivet fire!

 

The writing up has started now, with health & safety first.  If you have anything you like to or to make sure I consider something that you think is important to safety equipment, asbestos or other dangerous working or perhaps you've suffered an industrial accident or disease whilst working at the Yard, you can let me know by email.

 

I'll also be looking at the closure (25 years ago this year), women in the Yard and technological change and would love to hear from you on those too.
